innaccuracy myth

Time to come clean, you weren't at the game were you. I can recall Rocca missing two, Heath Shaw, Cloke and Swan in the last all missing easy set shots from 30 or closer. The only "easy" miss for the Bullies was from Giansiracusa on the run in the third, all their other set shots from 30 they nailed. Our inaccuracy was more costly than the dogs it's that simple and if your head wasn't jammed up your ass you could see that.

maybe you need to go to the video tape.

I'm still waiting for the list of set shots 30 meters out or closer that the Bulldogs missed. If you can't come up with them you lose.

According to todays paper, Rocca has 17.17 and Cloke has 9.15. Doesnt that give the coaches any ideas that maybe our two key positions players may need some goal kicking practice. Especially Cloke whos kicking style is horrible at the moment.

At least Didak is 9.1.

Wont matter how straight the Dogs kick.. they wont beat the Cokers this year or any other year until they find a game breaking tall forward.. just how long do you go with this running runts game that breaks down every September? They've been doing this for decades now.. a wonder their own supporters don't put more pressure on the club to find a goal square gorilla ala Rocca, Brown, Pavlich, Hall, Gehrig etc

Why did we beat them last year? We are a better team now than then

we're a lot closer to a spine than you are to a midfield, if thats where you want this to go.

Game set and MATCH:D
Hardly, Stef and yourself have lost the first two sets and all we need to do is hold serve to win 6-0 6-0 6-0. No team in the last twenty years has won the big won without a goal to goal line.

Fullback: Brian Harris (I'll pay)
Center half back: ??? (By the time you've broken in Williams or Everitt West and Darcy will be finished)
Center: West (Superstar but he's into his 30's)
Center half forward: ??? (Walsh has been a bust and unless Robert Murphy suddenly grows a foot this will continue to be a gaping hole with no other help on the list)
Fullforward: Brad Johnson (Another star but also into his 30's and another undersized player manning a key position)

Sorry but your one dimensional forward structure will always fail in pressure games because they rely on the perfect pass. Sides like Sydney, Adelaide, West Coast and Port will eat the Doggies alive if there's even a breath of wind. All sides coincidently that we play well against. Game set and match, thanks for playing.

Not so sure about that.. we are building a nice new midfield. I think you'll be impressed by what you see in the next few years.
