MRP / Trib. Leigh Montagna possibly will miss Round 1 of 2014

There is something fundamentally wrong with the method in which they choose to suspend or not… Fraser keeps talking about how long a player is on the ground for and if Marc Murphy had stayed down longer then Cassisi would have been suspended… Crowley and Johnson had no medical problems to report, but because they hunched over and fell down respectively, Maguire and Montagna both received weeks.

How is that going to stamp out acting? It's purely rewarding the best acting by suspending their opponent… just ridiculous.

Whats the point of having "1 week" with no chance of extension? The player is always going to contest it unless it was something really ******* obvious in which case it wouldn't be worth the time.

Haha weak as piss.

1 - You should be allowed to do whatever you want to Crowley without getting suspended.
2 - How exactly did he get hurt? Maybe he felt it was going to make his period come early?

That's a joke. I really do dislike AFL now, but go Saints!

God help us. How pathetic. Goose was even more stiff than Joey!

How does Cassisi get off???!!!!!:eek::confused:

Melksham protects himself, Jackson drops to initiate head contact and Melksham goes??!!!:eek::confused:

Morons

Does anyone know if this went to the tribunal or did they just accept it?

Can't understand that at all. Too busy trying to douse the flames of the latest scandal to fight the charge? Would he have got 2 weeks by challenging?

I believe due to previous incidents there was no way he could actually get off the charge?

But if you take it to the tribunal they can totally disregard the MRP can't they? Hmm.

Thats alright, look how he went this year missing first game. :D
