Not saying you're wrong, I don't have a crystal ball, I just think it sucks that Crows supporters will now identify just about any good player we recruit, regardless of their preferred position, as a "potential midfielder". It says a lot about how bad our midfield is that people are constantly looking for some sort of reprieve.
I don't think the club is that stupid.
Andy Otten thread
But for his ACL Otten would have made a good midfielder/wing in the Andrew Embley mould.
Was dominant there for South.
Probably doesn’t want to sign long term on money that he deserves only for the next two years.
I shake my head in disbelief that he’s in his first yearI had a chuckle when Elliott shook his head when Max out marked him in the last quarter (read the ball better)
Max is so ******* good.
His footy IQ is off the charts, which is way he doesn’t rely on his skinny body to play so early into his career.I shake my head in disbelief that he’s in his first year
And even if they do get the ball he’s on them so quick. His footy IQ is off the charts, which is way he doesn’t rely on his skinny body to play so early into his career.
Doesn’t seem to have much strength at all yet, but it doesn’t matter because he reads the ball so well, also has extreme pace which makes him hard to beat imo.
Honestly think he could develop into a wingman for us.
Seriously is the best small defender in the game right now.
Who’s better than him?
I think a part of his game that is underrated is his disposal. So far this season there has been 4-5 passes under pressure into the corridor that have been sublime while his disposal on the easier kicks is always good. As he gets more experience and confidence he is going to be an absolute jet for us. I hope his little brother is as good!I shake my head in disbelief that he’s in his first year
I'd say Quaynor is. There's a few good small defenders around the league. Max having an excellent first season though, and has a lot of physical maturing he can do.His footy IQ is off the charts, which is way he doesn’t rely on his skinny body to play so early into his career.

That Coleman kid at the Lions is pretty handy? His footy IQ is off the charts, which is way he doesn’t rely on his skinny body to play so early into his career.

Yeah two presessons in the weight room and he won't look like the same player.I'd say Quaynor is. There's a few good small defenders around the league. Max having an excellent first season though, and has a lot of physical maturing he can do.
We have 2 ourselves with Worrell...Looks so much like the sort of player Geelong always seem to have 3 or 4 of in their backline.
The sort who ends up playing 250+ games, earns a couple of B&F's, etc.
Theoretically that should work better as ball drop is 65% the key to a good kick.Loves hitting moving targets coming out of defence! So reliable.
His kicking action always looks a bit odd to me. It's like he holds the ball a fraction too long before he drops it onto his foot? Works though
I would say it's more like 67%Theoretically that should work better as ball drop is 65% the key to a good kick.
I thought about 67 but it just didn’t quite seem right.I would say it's more like 67%
