Here's a challenge for all you Bay 13'ers to keep you occupied through the off-season.

Forget Carlton, who on Earth are Richmond going to play in their forward line this year???

Who you won't see
Matthew Richardson, best forward for a decade - Retired
Nathan Brown, their next best forward - Retired
Jay Schulz - traded
Brett Deledio - midfielder, would be like playing Judd there
Dustin Martin - see above

So, who's left?
Kayne Pettifer - spud, but will probably get a game
Mitch 'I'll play on, thanks' Morton - see above
Robin Nahas - see above
???

Help me out here...

Who you won't see
Matthew Richardson, best forward for a decade - Retired (6 games in 09)
Nathan Brown, their next best forward - Retired (13 pathetic games)
Jay Schulz - traded (4 games)
Brett Deledio - midfielder, would be like playing Judd there (21 games in the midfield, 0 full games up forward)
Dustin Martin - see above (0 games)

So, who's left?
Kayne Pettifer - spud, but will probably get a game Delisted
Mitch 'I'll play on, thanks' Morton - see above Yes
Robin Nahas - see above Yes
???

A whopping average of 4.5 games a piece up forward we'll be missing. Our forwardline will be soooooooooooo different to last years.

Plus Pettifer's gone.

sorry should we of traded for this guy in order to have a forward target,

how about you concentrate on getting past the prelims and winning your clubs second flag and stop worrying about us

I've seen some shocking Photoshop attempts over the years. I plan to file that one under "one of the very worst".

4 replies from Richmond supporters, and still so far we have only have 3 forwards. We need at least 6 to have a starting side, and realistically a couple more that can rotate through from other positions and off the bench, as well as more to come into the side when injuries or poor form come into play.

FF: Nahas ??? ???
HF: ??? Riewoldt Morton

Think harder guys

Probably one of Post, Vickery or Griffiths will be the other tall. Also expect guys like Cotchin, Collins and Martin to be named on the flank.

Looks a lot different to me

If I was a Dogs fan I would be more concerned with whether the old men in Aker BBBH Eagleton & Johnson can make it through the season than anything else. Already signs that old age is catching up with Eagleton having to go under the knife.

Ok so its:

FF: Nahas Hall Johnson
HF: Eagleton Riewoldt Morton

Thanks Ruthless Deflector :thumbsu:

HF- Mcguane Riewoldt Simmonds
FF- Nahas King Morton

Simmonds is a ruckman
McGuane is a defender
And unless there is another King at Richmond, you would have to be off your head to think Jake could play FF

HF: Cousins Post Martin
FF: Nahas Reiwoldt Morton

Good young forward line

Who's Post? Has he played a game yet?
The other two HF's are midfielders

You guys really haven't thought this through have you? You don't delist and trade two of your best remaining forwards when your best two retire

Looks like we will see 'Hardwick's paddock' this year

HF: Andrew Collins - Brett Deledio - Tyrone Vickery
FF: Robin Nahas - Jack Riewodlt - Mitch Morton

Other inclusions: Ben Griffiths, David Astbury, Dustin Martin (kicked 6 goals in a match once.), Jayden Post & Richard Tambling.

Predictions:

Jack Riewodlt: 49 goals ; 22 Games
Mitch Morton: 43 goals ; 20 Games
Brett Deledio: 24 goals ; 22 Games
Robin Nahas: 22 goals ; 18 Games
Tyrone Vickery: 19 goals ; 16 Games
Andrew Collins: 18 goals ; 15 Games

We'll just have to see how they go :)
