I only realised recently there was a club in the township known as South of Australia once and it was called the Victorian FC. Was the halcyon days of football in SA.

The Victorian won the first ever pennant. I assume they’d jump on a horse and cart, turn up and win. Then * off home again.

Then they just disappeared, did they have barrels back in the old days?
Also think they had black and white as their colours and looked very prison bar like.
A founding member of the SAFNL. Suppose they needed Vic’s to bring a level of professionalism to their league.
