On this day 130 years ago, the Fitzroy Football Club was born.....

130 years later....we've been battered and bruised and at times close to death....but we're still going - representing the suburb of Fitzroy at our home the Brunswick Street Oval.

For everyone else it is well worth a look - it is only a short article on how the Club was formed in 1883, but I don't remember even reading that level of detail given before.
