Workshop Pre-match banners

This article just popped up, and made me wonder if you guys have ever made or wanted to make your own pre-match banner (I don't know what the proper term for them is). Also, if anyone knows what the average dimensions of them are, that would be real helpful, especially if you've been involved in making one before

I've helped make and designed banners for the Glenelg footy club,

Yeah I've helped out here and there. Remember. Lots of crepe paper and tape.

What's the sizes like? They look about 8 metres tall by maybe 15 metres wide?

At Glenelg, it is approx; 4x10 but some of ours is not crepe paper

I've wanted too with some issues:

1) I'm in an area in the States where Toronto is the closest footy I get
2) I'd be doing it on my own
3) I'm not really attached to a club, but guilt by association aligns me with the Etobicoke (Toronto suburb) Kangaroos.
