wish I had a tape of this guys game to show you guys. Was ok tonight, but that's it. So many time I saw him handball to someone under pressure or bang it on the boot.

I just had a look at everyone's votes - and many gave him 4 or 5 points. WTF?

he was ____ing brilliant tonight.

in tight he was killing the clearances.

in our top 2 players tonight.

Cleares out better than an English tube station when backpack wearing Muslims head down there....

thought he was better earlier in the game, made a few errors around the end when we were dicking around with the ball...but hey, it was party time so we'll cut him some slack.

Said the exact same thing watching the game tonight. He works really hard and does get some good clearances but at times his choice of player to pass to, either by hand or foot, is not the best.

He sold ebert, fridge and masten up the river a couple of times.

But hes still only playing in his 3rd season so it should improve with time.

Top midfielder takes the pressure off Ebert Masten Braun and so on. Going to be great to see him back with Kerr next week. Clearance specialist looked a bit shaky at times but he is an integral part of our future. Future's looking brighter.

Just a ball magnet that brings the rest of his team mates into the game.

Second most valuable player ( behind Cox ) that we have and no i haven't forgotton Kerr.

Great at applying defensive pressure as well. Does anyone know how many tackles he had tonight ? Last year he led the team in general kicks, tackles (by 25 !) and loose ball gets and was second in handball receives and inside fifties, yet people (especially West Coast fans) continue to give him a hard time ! "Sideshow" is a vital part of this West Coast team and he showed why again tonight !

Always getting tagged so he's always under pressure and yes he did sell a couple of guys into trouble but when your about to get hit you gotta get rid of the pill. He was awsome!

Priddis plays in the engine room where he gets contested possessions when you've got guys tackling you in that situation the only option is to fire out a quick handpass or kick. He dosen't have the luxury of sitting out on a wing with time to spare. It's not possible to get %100 efficiency when playing in a scrum. Priddis was also wearing Adelaide's no.1 tag, Shirley most of the night.

He's a pretty handy player but it frustrates me that people bar up over him all the time. I so wish I had a tape of the game and could show people every posession he had. He doesn't seem to have enough time or be able to stall it up and take the right decision. Often it's beause he's in a pack and it's very hot, but have a look at how the Swans midfielders have been doing it for the last few seasons - they fire a handball out of a pack and hit a free target regularly.

Well it frustrates ME that people won't give Priddis his due credit, so we are even "bunsen" !:p

True to an extent, but:

1) when he's not in tight, he often makes rash decisions resulting in puting a player under the gun or turning over. Case in pint: when he ran to the 50 and blazed away stright to a Crows player. As another poster has mentioned - also handballed to players under pressure.

2) Doesn't seem to be able to buy himself time. ie Cousins would be in tight, run away, turn around, and be in space with time to make a decision. Judd and Kerr shrug tackles. Priddis does neither, just bangs it on the fist or boot.

3) Have a look at the Swans midfield over the last few seasons. All their players could take a ball out f a contested pack and fire a handball to a free man.

Give him a go. He did bllody well to get the clearances tonight and help out the kids by being the bigger body that they took. He had a big layoff and has noyl just come back into the team. Bit rusty but will get better in time. I never rated him as to slow, and does nothing fance but with Kerr on his wing he will be invaluable. All bodes well for present time. Plus he has flaws so not going to eat up to much salary cap..

Priddis doesn't have enough speed to break away from packs. Also, you are overrating the Swans midfield for one, the style of their play means they have 15 of their players around that pack. Either it will hit their player or they contest for another ball up. Also, Priddis isn't exactly an experienced midfielder. He has played 31 games. Sheesh.

8 clearances under pressure but he gets negative press?

Sells to may players into trouble who are calling for the ball??

Doesnt shrug tackles yet 8 times managed to wriggle out of what? Thin air?

Very good, solid game tonight, in just his second game back from a knee injury.

But yeah if it makes you fell better Bunsen, he was ok.

Actually, I'm the only one who gives him a hard time. Everyone else is in the queue to blow him.
