Some sad news with the passing of club legend Billy Williams. Billy was named on the interchange in the clubs Team Of The Century in 2003.
Billy played in the famous Blood Bath Grand Final in 45, he also won the B&F in 46,47 and 50 and was also our leading goal kicker on 2 occasions. He played 125 games and 180 goals, before moving to Williamstown as Coach.

Always sad to hear about the passing of a club champion. I believe the Swans were wearing black arm bands against Geelong on Friday to honor him.

Sad to hear of Billy's passing. I'm sure he would have been proud of Friday night's effort.

I didn't realise. Asked a mate about the armband v.Cats but he didn't know either.

Bloody sad to hear. I'm a bit of a history fan & Billy is one of those past players I wish I could have watched. He sounds like a legend in every sense of the word. As Tuco said, that's one tough generation & one I have the uptmost respect for.

Vale Billy.
