Midfield smashed...no forward system....and no Dow is not the answer

Crows are well regimented & have played a mostly disciplined game.
A one paced, mostly one-way midfield was always susceptible to being opened up by quality ball use, particularly given their reasonably unpredictable/dangerous forward setup.
Future additions need to provide better balance and better ball use.
Players unwilling to work defensively & stick tackles should be the first to be moved on.

Hollands & Newman arguably our best.

How many times did Marc Murphy make mid size defenders look stupid? It’s Sloane we’re talking about not a random journeyman with no craft. Not Plows best effort but what about the other defenders giving up a 3 v 0 uncontested mark in the pocket?

Mate the bloke is completely useless. We’ve seen the same s**t show for 6 years. If we are going to lose like this I’d rather Kemp plays and we move forward.

We haven’t played football that any club has feared for 25 plus years … we r the joke of the competition. All the other clubs call us icecream. We melt when the heat is on.

Just such a terrible style of footy we play...coupled with pretty low footy IQ...not a great combination. Everything we do seems like it takes so much effort...yet opposition sides can open us up on the transition so easily. Can't remember many passages of play this season where it looks like something evolved from a plan.

One of my biggest pet hates, run 20, kick 55 and give it a chance to clear. We tend to chip it out 25m from their goal line and not take advantage of the new rule
