My Round 9 tips are that a record number of BF users are going to start threads complaining about how bad the AFL have stuffed up the fixturing by allowing Sydney vs Carlton to be scheduled for Friday Night.

Then after Sydney thrashes them by 80 points, another record number of users are going to start threads questioning Carlton's playing list and Malthouse's coaching for the rest of the weekend.

Just you wait.

Yes, yes, yes I agree.

BTW, what is the Disputed Western Sahara region?

Sydney by a million before a crowd of people who would have loved knitting at the Guillotine in the French Revolution alternately sfellowing and putting their hands over their yes as they watch the hapless Blues roam around.

Richmond Essendon will more or less sell out and is impossible to call.

BTW, what is the Disputed Western Sahara region?
It is a region on the West Coast of North Africa which is territorially disputed by the Moroccan government and the Polsario Front (a tribe of nomadic Saharawis who are indigenous to the region).

What happened was after Spain caesed control of that region in the 70s, it gave control to Morocco (in the northern part) and Mauritius (in the southern part).

After the Polsario Front was established a couple of years later, they overthrew the Mauritius and become an autonomous country (known as the Sahara Arab Democratic Republic).

However, the Morrocan Government decided to invade and take de-facto control of the SADR.

This has led to 40 years of high tension in that region.

Hahaha why is it someone tips against west coast this pic keeps coming up. Everything round.

That poster is a Freo fan/reverse troll.

My tips at this stage:

Sydney > Carlton
Hawthorn > Gold Coast
Melbourne > Port (Melbourne still paying >$3 to win!)
GWS > WB (Looking forward to this one. Griffen against his old club, Boyd etc)
Essendon > Richmond
Freo > Adelaide
Saint Kilda > Brisbane
Collingwood > North Melbourne
Hawkins/Clark > WCE (Unless our midfield gets on top, and even then.. Taylor etc)

Very interesting. Thanks for the education!!

Dreamtime will get 80k plus... No doubt in the world

Dreamtime won't. Richmond V Essendon will. Dreamtime is a silly marketing stunt which won't put one extra bum on one extra seat. A mid ladder Richmond V a mid ladder Essendon both coming off wins is a crowd magnet.

Richmond in 8th V Essendon in 9th. Both 4-4. Both live but by no means definite chances for the finals. Weather permitting a nailed on opportunity to show the true potential of that fixture when the circumstances are right for it.

Since attendance figures across the board exploded in the mid 1990s there have been very few examples of this fixture with both sides in the top 10 on the ladder. This has depressed average turnout down to about 63,000. With both top 10 it really should be as near as a whisker to a sell out.

Sydney Vs Carlton - 70 points - Sydney can do much more than this but they probably won't

Hawthorn Vs Gold Coast - 145 points - I am scared for Gold Coast. Lost by 99 while decent last year

Melbourne Vs Port Adelaide - 15 points - Seem to play well against Port Adelaide, and keeping them down is a struggle once they got you.

Western Bulldogs Vs GWS - 35 points - I don't think GWS will stop their rampage in Round 9

Richmond Vs Essendon - 6 points - I hope this game is a great game to watch. Think Fletcher's 400th is enough for them to get up and win

Adelaide Vs Fremantle - 15 points - Should still win, but wouldn't be surprised if they lost though

Brisbane Vs St Kilda - 26 points - Should be able to collect a win from them at the Gabba

Collingwood Vs North Melbourne - 25 points - should bounce back from the Perth humiliation

West Coast Vs Geelong - 24 points - Think Geelong will get up on this one

I am disturbed by the amount of people tipping us. Port must have been beyond awful against the Tigers.

On a neutral note, looking forward to the Dreamtime game. Should be a ripper crowd.

Have you watched us the last few weeks..

Westhoff, ryder and schulz have kicked a wopping 2 goals between all of them in 3 weeks against s**t opposition...

You played us to a kick or 2 twice last year when we had some sort of direction and gameplan.

I would be surprised if we get within 8 goals of Melbourne.
