I achillies and calf problems this year. Went to a physio got some dry needling and some stretches i could do i found it makes a big difference. Dry needling made it feel a lot better had it taped for a week and now i have stretches to do twice a day that seems to keep the pain under control.
My wife used a lot of rock tape with her injury to get through marathon last year though some dont like to do that
Cheers mate. Think booking the physio is the go. Will give that a shot and see what they say.
