Portfolio SANFL: OUR WAY FORWARD, a SANFL 2024 Portfolio

After a long long wait, this portfolio is back! The first of two specialty rounds is the WEST END RETRO ROUND. Five games are played across the first Showdown weekend, all at the Adelaide Oval. All clubs wear a special throwback design, coming from the 1920s-2010s, with most games being themed to a specific era. Some eras have visible sponsors whilst others have sponsors hidden in the design.

Starting with the Showdown Double Header: Thursday, May 2nd @ 3:30 pm Port Adelaide vs Adelaide Crows


The Saturday daytime game is played between the two teams in the north: Saturday, May 4th @ 12:00 pm North Adelaide vs Central Districts


The next game is a rivalry between Adelaide's eastern Suburbs: Saturday, May 4th @ 7:00 pm Sturt vs Norwood


The Sunday midday game is played off between the two teams from the west: Sunday May 5th, 1:30 pm West Adelaide vs Glenelg


And finally ending of Retro Round on Sunday afternoon is a match between one of the oldest, and youngest clubs in the SANFL: Sunday May 5th, 3:30 pm Woodville-West Torrens vs South Adelaide


There is one Special Round remaining, which actually happens before retro round, but due to the first AFL showdown being played in round 8 instead of earlier, the designs will be made second.
