Solve Robbos riddle

Wasn't that why he had to "get out of Geelong"?

Because gambling is banned in Queensland, of course

Pretty sure he left for the same reasons that Ryder left Essendon. The rumour is that there is no way Lonergan would appreciate having him at the club.

I think the analogy "banged up abroad" applies to christensons departure from Geelong in an obtuse kind of way.

Exhibits B, C and D

Do we though?

There was a sneaky little runour going around that the Hawks weren't sledging him about his depression but rather another pastime of his which had him pull the pin on the Dees, before he was given a tap on the shoulder.

Not saying that he doesn't have depression, but the AFL and its affiliated media sure do love selling us some absolute bullshit, so you can just never be too sure.

Look out, captain flogdog has another ITK rumour from one of his secret internet groups. This should be good.

Hmm I feel like Robbo is associating Mitchell's actions with taunting over mental illness. That's unfair on Mitchell. Taunting someone over mental illness is clearly off limits and really s**t way to treat another human; Mitchell didn't do that (as far as I know) and his actions shouldn't be associated with it.

Actually think he was quiet clear in separating the two - saying Mitchell's wasn't serious but the other one was.

Hey Bunk, are you still trying to tell yourself that Bomber really did want to work with James?

Are you telling yourself that James was Bomber's problem there? PED robot and Napoleon were his problems.
I told you last year he had a few issues. Craig was one, Hird another.

It's almost laughable that is being passed off as fact as the months go by. That little rumour started all because the Geelong branch of the Big Footy investigative unit was desperately trying to come up with an excuse for why two walk-up best 22 players (seemingly) were going to leave the Cattery within 48 hours of each other. 'Christensen must have been up Lonergan's Mrs' was the best they came up with, narrowly edging out 'Christensen stitched Lonergan up with a Ponzi scheme'.

Yes, this started by being concocted out of thin air on Big Footy. And people bitch about the lack of accountability and credible sources of the footy media, when they 'break' a story.

Even so, you don't think the depression would have been the main factor in the break down? Id imagine if he didn't have depression he'd have just shrugged it off.

And so they should. You'll get the usual round of whinging from BigFooty pundits about the fact that they're on big money to kick a footy and that's true but there's a line that can't be crossed.

Footy players have families and kids and all sorts of s**t to deal with. Personal stuff is off limits.

100% agree
