'Watch whatever you like, I'm really not that addicted to this show....'

I will, mate. I'll be hanging around the board that night.

I'm heading down to Torquay for the weekend to an out-law family wedding. Renting a house with the brothers & sister in-law and their partners. Only catch is the Mother in Law is bunking in...... aaaaaahhhhhh.
Grizz, meet you in Geelong this afternoon to hand the baton over.

The only advice i have re names is wait until you see the goods!

Grizzlym jnr didn't have a name for like 2 weeks...

18 weeks... The weeks roll by...

And like the most virulent strains of Malaria, the topping-eating mother-in-law dissected unleashed the horror on a bowl of pasta tonight.

Yep, she ate around the spaghetti and just ate the topping.

She left a few hours ago. I am now free. But the horror will live on.

Langers, I'm concerned for your welfare. Did you survive the wedding and sharing a bedroom with the mother-in-law?

What's going on around here on this board. Mother-in-law bunking in with the kids, Mother-in-law paying a surprise visit while on holidays.
Guys you need to take a stance, we cannot let this sought of thing continue, it will be the end of civilization as we know it. :D

it is a venting thread...

But, yes, I agree re the end of days!

I know , i said it with tongue in cheek :D

I know. Stating the obvious and playing dumb is not one of my better traits...

How's everything, mate? Good to see you posting.

Ok Grizz , :thumbsu: only a small matter of insomnia.Never had any problems prior. I am going in for a sleep therapy test next month which should be interesting. I refuse to take sleeping pills and i don't take any tablets whatsoever, not even for a headache.

But yeah Grizz everything is fine.

Only just mate. It's bad enough at the best of times, but throw a family wedding into the mix. Don't know what it is, but weddings in which she has some close involvement just move her to another plain. Had two in four weeks. My defense is to switch off or walk away or both.

You should have come down Arkadia, it might have cured your insomnia.

And just to clear one thing up, shared a house, not a bedroom.

You recovered yet Grizz?

Why do people (family) think it's okay to ring you at 6.30am in the morning and are surprised they have woken you - 'you're missing the best part of the day'.

One of these days I am going to grow some and ring someone at midnight to 'chat' and explain how wonderful that time of the evening is.

I HATE GETTING WOKEN UP - ESPECIALLY BY THE OTHER HALFS FAMILY WHO DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO HAVE A LIE IN - IT'S THE DEVILS WORK AT HAND APPARENTLY :mad::mad::mad:

Parked the car at Crown last night and headed off into the city on a boys night out.

Upon returning to Crown at 4am to collect the car, there was two bouncers on the entrance asking us if we had had a drink tonight.

We had a few but weren't drunk. We were under 0.5 since our driver was driving us home.

They refused us entry since they said because we had had one drink, we were intoxicated. Things started to get heated cus we were done for the night and just wanted access to our car and leave.

Took us three other entrances until we managed to get in (mainly because there were 6 security guards escorting some other guys away and we snuck by).

Crown can pretend all they like that they are trying to do 'responsible serving of alcohol', but in the end, its just a front to keep the media happy.

****ing d!ckheads!

Metro trains (again).

Not only are they crap, which is thanks to years of governments doing frack all, but they bullshit constantly.

Apparently one sick passenger on a train arriving at Flinders Street delayed trains on four lines for up to half. What happened? Did they set up a MASH style medical hospital on that train to care for them?

Connex were crap, Metro are as bad if not worse.

Make it free until you can make it work.

Elevators that cease to work midway through operating. That is all today.
I got stuck in the middle of two floors in an elevator once, for about 10 minutes. It was during an all-nighter back in my uni days. Quite annoying and a little scary.

I got stuck at uni too. But you could make international calls on the phone in the lift, so, as getting stuck was a regular event, we used to randomly call all sorts of people around the world.

I got stuck in a glass lift that ran on the outside of my hotel in America. That was scary.
