Just saw this - "The Wally Lewis Medal is decided on by Australian coach Mal Meninga, and his selectors Laurie Daley and Darren Lockyer."

What a joke.

Well, if you're going to have three judges...

But yeah, Holmes would have been a deserved choice.

Kinda weird tonight; I watched the first half, not knowing the result, before going down the pub to watch England/Croatia, avoided spoilers in the pub, but was told it was a good second half, so after the gruelling extra-time, went home to watch the second half. So, a bit flat on both counts; I would have liked to see NSW do the clean sweep, but Queensland couldn't be denied, as NSW found heroic defence comes at a cost.

They were never going to let Billy retire a loser and the referees were obviously instructed as such and Slater as man of the series is a complete joke.

Yes blame the refs when they could have awarded a penalty try if they wanted to. NSW got a lot of calls in game 1 and 2.

Still can't believe this. Not unexpected though. NRL not releasing the votes because of confidentiality agreements. Why would they need to sign agreements. It's a sham.

Ha ha, very good!

NSW expected the game to be a walk in the park. Even though NSW won the series, you could see the shock in their eyes: “all those Queensland champions gone and they still won!”
