Re Adelaide v Geelong, it should not be classified as a game played or as a draw, because it was neither. The game was not played, it was cancelled. There was no score, it was not a 0-0 draw. The two teams will only play 21 games this year. I wouldn't bother with an extra column in the ladder for a "No Result", an asterisk should suffice.

RIP Phil Walsh, a PE teacher at my high school in the 1980's (ie. when I was also there).

EDIT: Happy to see that the ladder on afl.com.au agrees with me

Jobe Watson lost his 200th game by 110 points. What is the biggest wins and losses for a player playing in their 200th game? Same for 250th, 300th, 350th and 400th games?

Bearing in mind these milestones may not have been celebrated at the time due to the variable status of state games etc...

Thanks Ron. What are the top 20 largest margins?
How many times has a team kicked a score of less than 100 but won the game by 50 points or more in the 21st century?

01: IIRC, St Kilda beat Richmond 91-8 in the '60's.

02: There was a game in 2001 where Carlton beat Geelong 97-27. (The infamous Silvagni-Milburn game.)

North lost when they had an average of 76 games more experience per player, where does that rank all time?
best since 2003 from what I can tell, probably a lot longer.
also record of teams who have 1500 total games more experience? 22-0 by numbers since 2003 prior to Saturday

However many of those instances were statistical quirks involving startup clubs. In Ha v Ad and Sy v Ad, for example, Adelaide was the older team.

What brings home the magnitude of North's defeat is a look at the greatest average age differences (North/GC at the bottom):

Over the past five years, North has made fewer selection changes than any club other than the notoriously stable Sydney. Even though they have a crucial game this week against Geelong, I don't think such a diabolical performance can be allowed to pass without repercussions.

And I have just discovered the lowest score less than 100 to result in a 50 point victory was, predictably enough, achieved in the early days of the VFL, back in the very first season of 1897. South Melbourne 8.11 (59) defeated St. Kilda 0.2 (2) by 57 points.

Hawthorn won 4 quarters against Collingwood for a 10 point win.

That's a record low for Hawthorn, but there's bound to have been lower margins in 4 qtr wins back through history... isn't there?
