The AFLPA engineered the move of Mitch Clark to Geelong from Melbourne, therefore taking one of the best players from a bottom team and handing him to an already strong club. Clark had to make up some very weak excuses for the move and the AFLPA signed off on it, almost as if they only want a comp with 4 or 5 strong teams and another dozen that will never win a thing.

Even as a Hawks man I think this is terrible thing for footy.

The AFLPA are bad for the game and will destroy it further if they continue operating like amateurs and continue to be run by morons. In fact just disband them already before they give the players more power when they already have way too much.

Shame on you Paul March and Luke Ball.

Like Frawley going to the Hawks .

No but it would have popped up his first big game anyway, so we may as well discuss your free gift now.

Like the Swans getting Franklin for free?
Like the Hawks getting Frawley for free?

Yeah a little tiny bit like that except Free Agency rules are clear and we abided by them'.

The process to get Clark to Geelong was dodgy as hell.

What was 'the process to get Clark to Geelong'?

Collingwood were heavily into him and he chose us.

We were heavily into Frawley and he chose you.

Swings and roundabouts.

We've lost Rivers, Clark and Frawley to a couple of clubs that have won multiple premierships in recent years, it's pretty frustrating.

Don't forget Blease ;)

Good get for the Cats but Melbourne should have been properly compensated. I hate the idea of giving the Dee's yet another high pick but this is a joke really.
Yep, instead the were punished by being given that Lumbumba guy or whatever he's called now.

I feel for Dees supporters.

Sadly this is the unfair competition the AFLPA have created. They should be disbanded immediately.

That is an idiotic attempt at an argument you're trying to drum up.

The AFL wouldn't have given the move the all clear if it was dodgy as hell, they're all about equalisation.
