When did Khawaja become a good batsman? :drunk:
Always was, but battled serious knee issues and couldn't even train, he was self injecting a 15k per year cancer drug into his knees for releif, and was on the verge of giving up sport at every level because of the pain. This was around 5 years ago, enter Tim Noakes and Dr Peter Bruckner and the rest is history.

What drug was he pumping into his knee and why ?
Notice his improvement has also coincided with Dank and Robinson having a bit of spare time ?

I can't remember the name but will track it down. It was OKd by Cricket Aust and had the effect of a powerful anti inflammatory drug. it was his only pain releif. I listened to a podcast by Bruckner and Noakes talking about it.

He had the knee issues since his mid-late teens.

Looks like the whole Garry Lyon/Billy Brownless thing has some legs. Lyon has stepped down from all media duties from channel 9 so he can focus on treatment for a "mental health condition".
Sounds like a excuse for the media to leave him alone while he patches up his marriage
