Collingwood ended 2012 in 4th place and look to re-capture the form that took them to the 2010 premiership.
Nathan Buckley stays on as head coach however Rodney Eade has left the club and will be replaced with Gerald McCline. The Pies expect McCline, a former drill sergeant for the Australian army, to straighten the Magpies more "free spirits" up with arduous training sessions.
One of Gerald's many roles will be to take former Demon Liam Jurrah under his wing. The Pies recruited Jurrah in the rookie draft, deciding his talents were to hard to waste, suggesting he would add depth to an already impressive lists that adds Quintan Lynch, Clinton Young, Jordan Russell plus many highly rated juniors to its list. The Pies added Ben Hudson (not VFL guys) to add some depth in the ruck area and to help young Witts and Grundy through.
This season promises to be a good one!
(I thought I'd do one since it seems fun. I'll be played on legend with extreme injuries on 5 minute quarters.)
