Vacation Care / School Holiday Program work

Hi there,

I've recently returned to relief teaching and am preparing for vacation care / school holiday program work over the summer holidays. I've searched extensively on google, but cannot seem to get a stranglehold on decent companies that provide these programs. I understand that some of them are provided through councils...is someone able to point me in the right direction of the following:

• reputable companies that provide vacation care / school holiday programs
• when do companies / councils usually start advertising these positions

Any help in advance is appreciated.

I have worked for Camp Australia for a few years - are shite, but regular work available. Be prepared to have a 21 old boss coordinating who knows nothing. I have coordinated the holiday club myself but it's not worth the headache.

After teaching (CRT) all year and working three holiday programs I'm hoping to take a break from kids this summer and do something that doesn't involve children.
