Van Berlo for Crows debut

Sportal for afl.com.au

Adelaide has named athletic midfielder Nathan Van Berlo for potentially his first AFL match against West Coast at AAMI Stadium on Sunday.

The 18 year-old was the club's second selection at last year's NAB AFL Draft, after he was plucked from West Perth.

Van Berlo shone at last year's NAB Draft Camp, particularly in the beep test and agility run and he impressed during the Crows pre-season period.

He has been named on a seven-man bench along with Matthew Clarke, Matthew Bode, Hayden Skipworth, James Begley, Rhett Biglands and Nathan Bock.

Mark Stevens, who played just three matches last season due an injury-riddled year, has been named and will play his 100th match for club.

There's a familiar look also down back where Nathan Bassett and Ben Hart, who has battled ongoing hamstring problems during the pre-season, have been named on the last line.

West Coast has added former Crow Tyson Stenglein for his first match for the club, after he crossed from Adelaide during last October's exchange period.

Stenglein finished second in the Crows best-and-fairest last year, before heading back to his native state.

Bring on sunday. It's my first game as a Crows season ticket holder. :)
