lol, I remember BT calling Adelaide games when Tyson Stenglein was playing, and he would say Steeeeeiiiiingleeeeiiiiiiin (phonetically: STYNE-GLYNE instead of STEN-GLYNE).

I reckon he did it deliberately for effect, but it used to crack me up regardless

No a spoonerism is where you muddle up the beginning of one word with the beginning of another.

Example:
