Welcome Brad E, son of the probably the greatest South Australian footballer to ever grace a field, and a solid player in his own right.
Should give our kids plenty of good advice and encouragement, very happy with this appointment 👍

Sorry for the intrusion, but Russell was his uncle not his father. But your spot on about Ebo ... a great appointment for your club.

Here is where Vos is either going to succeed or Fail IMO. The coach lives and dies by his assistants (assuming he has the list).
IMO last years influx of assistants was exceptional with Hansen, Hamill and Clarke along with the shuffle upwards of Luke Power.
Based on this record and a little blind faith , I see Ebert as an excellent addition. Obviously Vos would know him well from Port, and it is a great show of faith that Brad was chosen above plenty of others available to fill this spot.

His father Craig played for Port as well, and his mother was the daughter of Trevor Obst who won the Magarey playing for port and also won 4 premierships. His genetics suggest that he was never going to be a ping pong player

Welcome Brad. Quality player, had some peaks and troughs throughout his playing career which came to an early termination. 260 games is an excellent innings. Still only 32 and a couple of years post playing career, surely Vossy has had plenty of time to assess his leadership credentials.

Happy to have a recent retiree on our coaching panel, particularly one with experience at multiple “decent” clubs. Another wouldn’t go astray, especially from a successful program.
