Yes it is a family heirloom... there are 4 families in our clan, and every now and again eligible sons fight for it in a brutal game of 'che wan do'- or MMA as it is most commonly known as today- the winner wearing the heirloom until such time as he leaves the clan, whereby another ritual takes place and the hat is passed on again...
