What If?

What if... Fremantle didn't trade pick 1 & 36 in the 2001 Draft for McPharlin, which in return got us Hodge, Mitchell and ended up getting Croad back as part of the deal.

Sam Mitchell 221 games (ex captain)
4 Peter Crimmins medal B&F award
Premiership player
Twice runner up in the brownlow in 2011-12
All Australian
Rising Star winner in 2003

Luke Hodge 205 games (captain)
Three times All Australian
2 times Peter Crimmins medal B&F award
Premiership player
Norm Smith medalist

Trent Croad 222 games
2 times All Australian
Premiership player

All this on the back of Fremantle's smart recruiting manager. :)

What if the Hawks picked Judd in the 2001 draft & the Eagles picked Hodge?
What if Hawthorn used pick 6 in the 2006 draft to draft Joel Selwood instead of Mitch Thorp?
What if Port were ran like the Crows and sacked Ken Hinkley after the 2016 season?
What if Richmond sacked Hardwick in 2016?

What if..... Essendon wins a final!

Bwahaha will never happen 😂
I hope it does so Essendon and North can share something else in common, with Brad Scott to have been the only man to have coached Essendon and North to a finals win during the social media era.

What if Fitzroy never went to Brisbane?

What if the ball rolled through for a goal in the 2010 grand final? (Milne just missing the ball)

What if Carlton never got caught going over the salary cap?

What if the AFL stayed at 16 teams?

And from my own clubs perspective, what if Aker didn't lose the plot in his last year?

What are your 'what ifs'?
What if Collingwood took Plugger when we had the chance. He was prepared to come to Collingwood instead of Sydney and the board voted three to two against doing it.

What if Collingwood extended Malthouses's contract when we won the flag in 2010.

St.Kilda would have 2 successful seasons making them still the worst team in history

what if jack silvagni's flying shot for goal in the dying seconds of the first close pies win in their streak last year actually went through

what if ollie florent's kick vs port goes through and the port streak doesn't start
