Norm Landrover here. Wanted to start a jumper design league, but maybe for the casual readers who have never designed before. Only thing is I don't know how well that would go over. I do want to make an effort to take on a (sort of) big project (for me anyway). Below is a list of cities for competition. We are focusing on bigger markets thus why the locationis have been pre-determined. Only if you really want to suggest a location, PM me with WFO as the subject. Have fun with this, nicknames and mascots are up to you. I will accept thirty-one (31) entries (32 total) based on a draft held at random (EUFA Champions League style). That will be available after the entry period closes. The non-winning entries will then be entered into a reserves draft if I deem there are enough participants. The regions will have a number in parenthesis that represents the maximum amount of teams per region allowed for the season. If there should be a reserves league, the top three will drop and the fourth and fifth place spots in the reserves will be allowed a one match playoff to determine the final spot. The WFO draft will be held on US Thanksgiving, Thursday 27 November 2014. Feel free to provide a secondary and tertiary option with proposed team colors with the chosen nickname.

Further details will be revealed prior to this date. I won't start the actual "competition" I'd like to have until it gets approved. Please note that all dates are subject to change. If this is not approved, this will become a fulltime workshop that becomes open to anyone and does not limit participating locations.

And as for the Russia/Asia thing, we could make that work

Suppose I make this the final list and then the rest can be for the hypothetical "reserves" league if we have one? Then we could just have people come up with the nicknames and colors and still have some type of "draft" as I so suggested.

The idea is that people will PM me with their ideas as to onwing a signular team to design like all the other "leagues" but will require mock draw up so I can get a sense of what to expect and subsequently approve it.
 
Sorry, I'm currently busy with exams and designing for the Olympics at the moment.
It's fine, there is no rush, we wouldn't start until we've gotten all spots filled and pre-designs approved. I myself am doing both of the things you are.;)
