I installed the kit kat update on my note 3 and it's ****ed my phone.

At first it wouldn't charge then I did a factory reset now the battery won't last a day. It's practically flat after 8 or so hours.

I don't think it effects other phones just the note.
Besides this I love them

I had a similar thing (although not nearly that bad) when I updated my Note 2. Wish I hadn't done the update after that. The phone itself is awesome though!

I'm waiting for a fix to be released that doesn't require me to root my phone. It's pretty poor I had to buy a car charger to plug it in after work.

Yeah these updates can often change one little setting and * everything up on certain models. Once enough people complain the fix will be out.

Missus' phone looks like it died today, so i'll probably grab her a Nexus 5.
