They must just wear it as a away jumper now, not just a Victoria jumper. They always wear it when they play in Tassie as well.

I believe the red is the same as the old Fitzroy jumper, it's just that the new material makes it look lighter/shinier/brighter.

I guess the AFL deemed the Brisbane Maroon to be too similar to the Fremantle purple and the red jumper is a solution (do Brisbane have a clash jumper this year?)
