Anyone seen Lara play this year? Do the young kids out there still at least look interested or have they completely given up.
 
Saw the article regarding Grovedale's coach finishing up at the end of the year...
Anyone know anything interesting there?
Reason why?
Possible replacements?
 
Andy Viola stepping down at the Giants too.

Shame as he's a decent coach and a damn nice bloke too. Could see him being a very good BFL/GDFL coach if he ever gets back into it.

Also disappointed, hope he went on his terms as per the press release. Massive appointment coming up to continue the rebuild in the GFL version of the Giants.
Cannot afford a player exodus which has occurred when the last few coaches stood down.
No room for error by the committee in their choice of replacement
Ex Falcon Coach /Bell Park favourite Andy Allthorpe would be a prime candidate if he has had a chance to freshen up. He would be on Fitzys list of contacts.
Brent Grgic is another whom they had a crack at in the past and missed would be another prime candidate

Noticed Steve Lewry down there a few times during the season so that's someone who might potentially throw their hat in the ring.

Agreed that losing key players each season is an issue there. If they could retain that good talent for a few seasons and keep adding to it they would be far more competitive.

They have been blooding a lot of young players this year so they are sticking true to their youth build for now.

Just wondering if anyone could rank the home ground of each club, from best to worst, taking into consideration facilities and general ground condition throughout the footy season?

west oval is the oval they play finals at n council r pumping millions into it to make it a grade A state facility.
