Suns ask for 1st round pick, we are offering future 2nd.

Compromise and we get our hands on an early 2nd rounder (Sydney's Pick 25?) by trading our future 2nd + 9 for Papley (Swans should need 2nd rounders to match bids in 2020, maybe Brisbane's pick 21)

Assuming that PSD avenue exists, don't really need to enforce anything; the threat of doing so should be enough to motivate a settlement on both sides, I doubt they, or the AFL, would reject a 2nd round pick and invite risk to the greater good. Besides, given his history, a 2nd rounder is fair compensation

Whilst i agree that is a fair compensation, i see GC digging their heels in and i don't get all this posturing crap that clubs do, year on year. Our respective seasons finished 5 plus weeks ago, surely a deal should be done in the 1st hour of Monday or shortly after.
