Cripps in one of the worst runs of form I can recall for a player of his supposed calibre - sapping team momentum with most of his involvements in play. Would be frustrating enough for anyone, but with the added weight of captaincy, it looks like he's really battling. Needs a reset or circuit-breaker of some sort... but with his mental struggles in front of goal, a move to the goal square is likely to do more added harm than anything.

What to do with him?

SPS has 6 touches and 0% disposal efficiency. To say he needs to be moved out of defense or dropped is an understatement.

Umpiring has actually been a joke this year. Every game I watch is terrible.

It would be a tough ball to handle and we are actually infront on frees 11 to 8. All I am saying is there is some incorrect disposal, more than usual, and the umps are letting them play. Other that the Jones and Weiters frees psid and the non call on Tabaner, they have been ok in a really sloppy game. Disagree all you like.

But that’s 3 goals in decisions in a game where 6 have been kicked.

This. Could not get front position at the throw ins or even contest them. Although noticed a few dodgy throw ins as well.

He’s not playing in defence. The ball was there the entire first quarter so he took some initiative to get the ******* ball.
