Hope he stays, but worth reflecting on attitudes by some here towards stack compared with ccj. Stack admittedly cocked up again, but went from spending weeks in Jail (after the death of a close relative) to working his arse off and cementing his spot as one of our best players over the back end of the season. Meanwhile CCJ appears to be packing his bags after a full pre-season and barely a fraction of the vitriol that stack got.

we'd be pretty happy to get that you'd think. Thats exactly what we drafted him with, so other than losing a few years of development we havent lost anything, which is rare as normally you have to accept a worse pick and cut losses.

with 7, 16, 20, 26, 28, it would leave us in a good position to draft deep or trade up for a better pick. Including CCJ we have 4 positions free already so the first 4 of those picks are live, and if chol goes we'll get jack sh*t for him so 28 becomes live as well. We've had a better hit rate with second rounders than 1st rounders so i dont mind going with those and offloading the lower picks to other teams who need points for future picks.

The AFL changed the rules this year. On draft night you can only hold as many picks as you have list spots.
5 spots becomes 3 if we bring in Talia and Narkle. Therefore we can only hold onto 3 live picks this year. Unless we trade Caddy but that brings in more picks. Which either means we trade with WB for their first and give them points for the Darcy bid or we trade out into next years draft or both

Sounded like he didn't know much at all. Probably just basing his info off that random caller from last week who said he was a done deal to Norf.

If he did leave that would be pretty poor, considering stack jumped through hoops to become the player we always knew he would. If he has some backbone he should commit to the tigers, but of course we got to pay him his market value too. I don’t know the moneys involved so a really shouldn’t talk.

caro doesnt often get it right but she has with this.
hopefully her comments make him change his decision, essentially cost someone their job and could've derailed the season.
its a two year deal hes guaranteed a place as jack finishes next season and i doubt jack plays the full year anyway.
wont be touching a premiership medal at lolnorf or fold coast.
