Another factor that might be in Carlton's favour is the heavy conditions, relentless rain for the Brisbane v Geelong game. Brisbane had nothing after half time against GWS, The round 1 G Coast v Adelaide was heavy relentless rain and both teams really struggled the next week.
The Geelong v Hawthorn game only rained in the 2 half so never really had much of an affect
