If there was ever a time to have a party this is it, the Hawks are flying after finally shaking the
Premiership Hangover however this Pizza Party will be one with plenty of mixed emotions

The Hawks will be celebrating a players massive milestone but also farewelling a modern great, a LEGEND
from the East Side Hawks and honestly one of the nicest players to grace the field

During the week we will shine the spotlight on ***** as the Hawks host the Bears in what will be MOTR

Over the next day invitations will be sent to Club Captains please have RSVP's posted into this thread by
COB Thursday so catering can be sorted ​

Favourite highlight with porps :

My favourite highlight with porps is playing alongside her in the premiership win last season, but I've enjoyed every moment playing alongside porps in my return to the SFA with the East Side Hawks, and have been glad to be her teammate.

Farewell message to porps :

Porps, you've been a big part of my return to the SFA, you were the co-captain with Wiz when I got to the then East Side Phoenix, and have been a huge support of mine since I've been in the SFA again, I am going to miss you at the Hawks, but I wish you well in the future, and hope you aren't a stranger to the East Side Hawks, and we get to see you around still and enjoy some quality banter, and discussions. Take care, and we all love you!

Geez, hard to limit it to one. Porps is one of my favourite teammates of all time. She's been a delight to post with and honestly it's probably all the shenanigans where I was robbed of my B2B2B second placed BnF's because the stupid formula made me win it.

I know better than anyone how people need time away from the Sweet FA. After all, I've "retired" like 10 times. Thanks for the years porps and hope to see you back here eventually.

Favourite highlight: I remember talking him down from the roof after he was told he couldn't join the royals.

Favourite highlight with porps : Far too many to pick for me! But I’ll go with one of my more unique ones that’s still actually Bigfooty/SFA /even East Side relevant and therefore “Porps” relevant which was my entire S34 Gap Year at East Side with Dingster. It certainly challenged my view over all these years that it’s more fun being opponents with friends than teammates. Tigerturbulance ‘s hot tub podcast gets an extremely honourable mention.

Pizza request : Again, spoilt for choice but I’ll go with Ortolana with extra wild mushrooms on top and chilli flakes on the side

Favourite highlight with porps : It has to be the flag doesn’t it? The run we went on at the end of last season was special, and to top it off with the ultimate success was incredibly sweet

Farewell message to porps : Porps I’ve played 130 games for the Hawks and 128 of them have been with you. You light up every match thread you post in, you make everyone feel welcome, and you’re a damn good qooty player as well. The Hawkie Walkie Wookies simply won’t be the same without you.

Favourite highlight with Porps:
Overwhelming enthusiasm for my involvement with Adelaide's Gather Round jumper in 2023. While I'm not a Crows fan, the appreciation I received from the likes of Porps and Crows fans alike made it feel extra special. To be able to make so many people happy and to see Porps' enthusiasm for the design in my original portfolio has given me a tremendous amount of confidence when it comes to my design hobby!

Porps has always been great fun to post with, even if I am not the most active on the SFA. Her being at the Hawks for quite a while has made me feel at home among this team!

It'd be wrong of me not to mention the flag, which I'd like to think was a great culmination to the fun had along the way!

Thank you. Porps has been on this team ever since I joined in Season 31 as a rookie. I haven't been the most active over that time, however Porps has been a constant and has always helped in making this team feel like just that: a Team!

I know everyone's talking about the drought breaking premiership, but I'd like to highlight a lesser known moment: the time she showed up at my family halloween party.

Thank you for letting me into the Hawks after I talked so much shit about them (and you by association) during my first stint at the Dragons 7 years ago. The warmth you've brought to this board is noticable and we are all lucky to have played alongside you.

Every interaction that I have had with porps has been a highlight since the first time we met here in the Sweet FA, I would have loved to have seen porps roam the corridors of Sweet back in the days of biff. Of course, nailing that premiership last season was a huge moment!

Where do you think you are going porps? You can just do what I do and contribute when you can be bothered and have 2 minutes to spare and just be angry and bitter about things you don't even know you are angry and bitter about.

Favourite highlights with porps : Porps was one of the stars and regularly selected as captain on #teamsausageroll minor premiers Superqoach team in her rookie season (also one of my rookie seasons). Co-founder and business partner in The Bakery. Porps was the clear choice as my vice captain in State of Origin.
