There’s definitely been a change in how we enter forward 50, and our small forwards were putting on manic pressure. We also kicked better to Charlie who could have have bagged seven.

Matt Carroll is the piece we’ve been missing. He’s got mongrel, he has a sweet kick, he always seems to have time. I love this kid.

Really liked Motlop’s game today too.

He’s remodelled himself this year & he’s starting to get time in the middle.

His pressure acts were terrific early & he worked well with Durds inside 50.

23 inside 50 tackles, of 83 tackles overall, is a fantastic stat, and hopefully is the precursor to the rest of our games. We'll be hard to beat if we can apply this same type of pressure in our future games. George bog again and in best form of his tenure with us.

Two of the teams we lost to would be in everyone’s top 4 and the dogs got a bit lucky

TDK can officially stand up to the monster rucks. He did lower his colours against Cameron (who might actually be the best ruck in the league), but he never took a step back against X.
