Kid impressed me with how well spoken he was.
Even the weird question on declining indigenous AFL draftees was well answered.
hopefully that confidence translates on the footy field
go well young man!
Love this bloke's attitude. One of my favourites already.
Every premiership team needs "glue" players like Grego, Hough, Noah Long etc. Dependable blokes, team-first attitude etc
He's going to shank some kicks out of the backline, but will be loved by the fans.
The way he comes across, saying...
I would prefer that our trade for Baker did not involve a pick we get from the Hawks
It would be good to get the deal done separately, so we can extract maximum value from Barrass
Otherwise we would rush the Barrass trade in order to get the Baker trade done.
The Hawks will be better next year, but there will also be a bit of pressure and a harder draw.
Sam Mitchell however is a brilliant coach, and what he has done given his own pre-season and near death experience in the US is ridiculous. Dont discount the effect of that on the start of the Hawks...
Ordinary from Ken
Chins up - super impressed with the Wizard, Weddle, Sicily forward almost wins it, Meek
Last two games would have been worth about 20 for your young blokes
1. Get Adrian Hickmott from Hawthorn
2. Fill the forward line with high pressure skilled smalls such as Kozzy, Liam Ryan, Champion, Noah Long, Brockman, H Reid
3. Encourage wanky celebrations / selfies / crowd shushing
4. Proft
I would pay
3+12
for 5+ Kozzy pickett
Essentially giving up 12 + a two pick downgrade for Pickett
Still allows us to land one of Draper / Langford / Smillie / Smith / FOS
Carlton having this many players out will mess with their structure.
Having no TDK, it seems MP has been lacklustre and i think BW will have a chance to get on top for a change.
Walsh has been a bit off. Cripps has to do too much himself with Kennedy and Hewett chipping in.
Also, Carlton's...
We need speed through the middle of the ground so both Baker and Bolton help with that by rotating through.
Bolton would suit our forwardline more than Baker would fit our backline (we have Cole and HJ already).
Bolton would be too expensive though and i'm not sure we have the draft capital /...
I did think it was odd for Ginbey to say he wanted to play under an experienced coach.
Wasnt sure what he meant there - did he mean experienced AFL coach? Which rules out JS.
Oscar probably felt that he had to say something positive, so i agree his comments dont mean much.
So far i havent seen...
I feel Schofield need a minimum of 1 win in the next 2 rounds to be in contention.
2 wins will see him perhaps become favourite.
I would also want to see some of the senior / young players publicly back him in.
Havent seen that yet which tells me he hasnt won them over yet.
5. Tim Kelly
4. Harley Reid
3. E Yeo
2. Tom Cole
1. BW
Harley gets the 4 for continuing to crack in and fighting a one man war
Yeo was good, but down the pecking order as he only had 68% TOG, so not quite fit in my opinion
TK was good and had less clangers / FA than Reid, plus the goal - so...
All things being equal, i'm of the opinion that we should draft a player that can play as early as possible.
If these guys are already able to play against men and rack it up, they go up the pecking order of course.
We dont have 3-5 years to develop some skinny kid until he can play seniors.
