Come on Turbo, every club does it. It’s a great way to encourage inclusion and make every new player feel welcome. Supporters love it and get excited. Plus every year some of the expected reserves players or fringe players end up playing seniors all year - whether because they have a full...

    WRFL Div 2 Discussion 2025

Really well articulated. Thank you sharing this. Agree with everyone’s sentiments, thirds footy is a bit of a laugh. No one takes it too seriously, it’s designed to just keep those guys who can’t commit (or maybe are too old or just learning) in the game. If you can’t just play footy at this...

    EDFL Premier Discussion 2025

From what I understand the players that are paid very well refuse to play 2s. They mostly have jobs where they can work on a Saturday so if they are not getting paid to play footy they go earn their 500-600 bucks on the tools.

Also with netball it is a tricky one. Many of the WFNL players play on Friday and then play on Saturdays in other leagues like...

    Future of the WRFL

The Melton clubs have netball on Saturdays and the games are played outside at their home grounds. With WFNL games are played on Friday night and in centralised locations. Changing leagues means a club may lose or gain netballers given different structure. In saying that the poster mentioned...

    Future of the WRFL

For what it is worth I don’t believe netball is essential. Pretty sure that not all clubs have a netball side.

    RDFNL 2025 Season discussion

If damadpanther is correct and it is $800 reduction on fees then centrals lose out big time.. to use your calculation $5 x 160 pensioners is $800… there was about thousand people in attendance at the derby. It’s hard for the league, it’s not their fault that there are no fences and of course...
