    I don't want to look too far ahead, but I'd be interested to know the odds if Geelong took on Port in the GF...I reckon they'd be 1.30 which would be pretty short odds for a GF, the shortest since Essendon 2000 most likely.

    For the Eagles to lose at Subi, no matter what the circumstances, is not an honourable loss. Particularly when you were 4 goals up and probably 1 goal away from delivering the knockout punch.

    I'm as quick to bag 7's coverage as anyone, but I agree wholeheartedly with this post. 7 did a brilliant job tonight in terms of handling extra time. For the first half, the time remaining doesn't mean anything so I don't see why it should have been there.

    4 points now, unbelievable. The Eagles put in all that hard work for 20 minutes and it's all undone in 3 minutes. Remember the Eagles almost choked against us a couple of weeks ago after having a 44 point lead. They've only had a 23 point lead and look like blowing it.

    Pies back in it, all of a sudden the Eagles are in trouble. They can't run out games and only have 3 on the bench. Even with the breeze it looks tough.

    Despite the scoreline, I think Collingwood look the better side at the moment. West Coast have had a couple of bursts where they've been able to capitalise but on the whole they've had to fight hard.
