    Who really cares to be honest. Will be pretty good crowds for both. 32k for Victory 45k for AFL. Crows are out, so bring on the A-League :)

    Expansion Why the hell is there a need to expand

    A-League club expenses would be at least a 1/4 of an AFL club's operation due to wages/staff/stadia. Sydney FC can ave. around 15k and will break even. AFL teams needs to really ave 25k+ to break even.

    I think the oldies get a little bit worried at the big games i.e. showdown/finals. Bit worried about those scary supporters and due to their importance, that there heart may race. Bring in an age limit??? Reckon that not many of the AAMI members have bought.

    Correct me if i'm wrong- but is that crowd more than the State of Origin game earlier on in the year.:) Pity about the result though- lot of those young kids need to develop there game more before they should ever play again.

    Who serious gives a rats clacker over %'s. Bottom line is I get to watch the crows take on brisbane on satdy night; then get to watch the socceroos play China in a dead rubber in front of 70,000 plus fans in Sydney. Long live both codes.

    Expansion Crowds last night at SoO and Asian Champions League

    30k at the sfs last night in sydney for the game against Ghana. 5 years ago, wouldn't have even broke 10k. Not bad for a warm up game. Looking forward to the 50k this sundy at Suncorp in Brisbane, of which I will be one of. Great stuff.

    I'm a crows fan, but it ain't a membership. It's a season ticket. AFC provide no voting rights for its members as power is ultimately invested in a seperate board of directors, and then the SANFL. Same for all the non-victorian clubs. Reckon they just use the term membership to promote people...

    Expansion A-League to add 4 new teams in 2009

    The basis of HAL was to foster development for the NT. It doesn't seek to be the EPL or some huge conglomerate. If we can get 18-20,000 averages, then its a successful competition in my eyes and many other soccer/sport supporters. The real fruit are the socceroos. Thats the end game.
