There should also be a working away allowance. If one job requires 33 days away from home and another job requires 18 days away from home it's obvious which one people would choose if everything else is equal. -

If you want a better comparison look no further than Angus Brayshaw. Played 140ish games before he reached free agency. Even though he had a history of concussion he still got a six year deal but was only able to play one year of that deal before being forced to retire.- Word Count: 51

I don't think WA itself is much of an issue, as you said the players forced to come here seem happy enough. But when we're competing with 10 Vic clubs it's almost impossible for us to offer an eastern states player something they can't get from another club. There will always be a VIC club(s)... -

Breust only played 8 games this year and 5 of those started as the sub, so he doesn't open up that many opportunities. Hawks usually played Gunston, Chol, Dear/Lewis as the talls and then Watson, Ginnivan, Moore, and MacDonald as the smalls, so it'll still be tough for Butler to get a game.
