    Employment Australian Employment Awards Transition

I was definitely not covered by an EBA. I signed a contract which was one page and basically just said I was emloyed, I don't think even still exists.

    Employment Australian Employment Awards Transition

Hi, I am looking for some help relating to The Australian minimum working entitlement awards. Essentially, I was under the understanding that employees should be covered by an award in any workplace at any point over the last 10 years. I have been underpaid by my employer substantially (and...

Best ways you've promoted or advertised your business

I started a small scale online retail business a few months ago, but my 2 cents: 1> Google+ Places (FREE): It can put you at the top on the front page of google in your local area 2> Google Adwords: With the right ads for the right keywords. You can do a test run by paying $20 and getting...

Guitarists, which strings do you use?

According to the world's most reliable source of 100% correct information (Wikipedia), he always plays with 2 strings... And he has a kids band now called Caspar Babypants in which he plays guitar with three strings. I actually listen to a lot of presidents, every now and then, but had no idea.

    Sunnyboys!

Just saw these guys on the weekend at Meredith. They played really well (I guess thats what happens when your band is old)

Guitarists, which strings do you use?

Slinkys are ultra popular for electric, I barely talked to a guitarist who doesn't use or hasn't tried them. The pretty cheap price range too probably helps, no loss if you try and don't like. Apart from mellow there's not much love for anything other than the 'big 3' (Elix, D'Ad, Ernie)

Guitarists, which strings do you use?

Yeah I reckon you're right, string breakage probably has more to do with setup etc. The problems I had with Dean Markley were with a kink in the windings when brand new, and the sound degrading faster. With most half decent brands I reckon 3-4 days after you put them on they'll all sound pretty...

Guitarists, which strings do you use?

Apparently there is a lack of guitarists on bigfooty... or maybe just nobody cares about my poll.

Guitarists, which strings do you use?

I'm just wondering which string brands everyone uses most? I use elixir nanos for acoustic and Ernie Ball Titanium for electric. I'm hoping to buy in bulk from distributors and sell by mail for better prices than music shops, so I'm interested to know the most commonly used strings. I've had...

East Melb - Car Wreckers/Scrap Metal

So I had a '91 Telstar which has basically done a head gasket, also has some rust and radiator in poor condition too. Its in Bentleigh and wreckers in the area don't seem to want it and I don't know where to start with scrap metal places. Any advice on how to get rid of this would be great. It...

    Claiming Deductions

Thanks. That is almost exactly what I needed to know. (The ATO website is hard to find out a lot of that stuff) I was aware of the ETO but it probably won't have much effect if I bring my business income down to near 0, since I can't claim this deduction on my PAYG income. I doubt I'll have...

    Claiming Deductions

Yeah that makes sense, and is why I thought I would just claim depreciation (so I could deduct the whole amount over 5 years). but realistically this is the year I need to deduct as much as possible, so I can probably just basically 'cancel out' any tax that would be due on my ABN income even if...
