2012 Emirates Melbourne Cup thread and Formtalk (Merged)
Has anyone got some thoughts on cavalryman? Just watched his last run where he came 2nd over 3220m. He ran a similar time to dunadens cup win last year and he carried 60kg in that race and gets to drop 6kg for tomorrow. Just trying to put a line through some but can't find a reason to count him out.- Word Count: 61

Seth what's the go with LITM. Only flew in the other day and is 29 in the OOE. How does he plan on getting a run? I didn't mind it's run last year, I think finishing 6th despite taking a poor path home on the straight.- Word Count: 47

Congrats to everyone that came out on top. Was lucky to win $4k from $400. Got on sportsbet before they restricted the amount of legs.
