    Maybe. But they haven't been knocking the door down to date. In any case, I want an international platform to own streaming services as the current AFL Intetnational sub costs over $50 per month....more than I pay for NFL, Premier League and F1 combined.

    Problem AFL will have is there is no competitor streamer waiting in the wings. From my experience with them, they don't seem to f around commercially and they hold no long term relationship with rhe AFL. The boys club that negotiated the previous deals may not be able to carry the day.

    More mature sports have had to diversify viewing options to counter plateauing of main stream media contracts. NFL for instance, have already capped team expansions and increased the number for regular season games (and will again). Streaming services, particularly packaged games or marquee...

    A little common sense would solve a lot of problems. If you have a feel for the game as an AFL umpire you should be able to determine both prior opp and intent easily. But as we saw with the old insufficient intent they have no idea regarding intent.

    Don't demand Berry to be your prime mover in the midfield but be the foil to that guy and he is very valuable. Ive got no evidence, but Berry strikes me as the sort of mid who needs max minutes in there to be effective...he's not a pinch hitter.
