    I only learnt this rule after the Thurs night decision, but apparently if you rush it from beyond 9m (top of goal square) then it's deliberate regardless of how much pressure you're under. Not saying I agree with it, just pointing out what Worrell gave away a free kick.

    exactly this, it would be an absolutely luxury to have Dawson playing across half back or half forward. As good as he is in the middle, I'd prefer him to have time and space for his kicking.

    that is elite. he's always shown that he's had great footy IQ and disposal skills, but he's now finally getting that confidence of knowing he can do it at the top level. it's been a very slow burn and one I'm glad they have persevered with!
