2nds 2021 Peel Thunder (Freo Reserves) Discussion
After watching peel today I feel that we have a long way to go. The talent is just not there. Half of our young guys are only getting a league game because they have been drafted. Its a shame when the young players on other sides are a hell of a lot better than the ones we have drafted. -

Clark cant kick and doesn't man up on defense so Scarlett doesn't want him in the backline. Hard to break into Geelongs midfield especially when they have question marks over kicking ability. Look at Blakely, you can see the terror in his eyes when he has to kick it over 25m. -

I thought Jackson was good today but at the moment he is probably undersized as an AFL Ruckman at 198cm. Especially when you see guys like Tim English at 205 get pushed around. He competes really well in the air and is good when the ball is on the ground. -

Was really good in the first quarter. Then Hoskins took him out of the game. From memory he only had 2 in the 2nd and 2 in the 3rd. Got a few cheap ones at the end when it was all over. Played inside for the majority of the game. Tried to isolate himself on Hoskins at times but that didn’t work... -

No. Bennell was tagged out of the game by Hoskins. Hoskins went to Crowden in the first quarter and then shadowed Bennell for the rest of the game.
