I hope we don't see a decrease in the number of playing teams this season. It looked like it was a pretty big drop last year and Fantasy just keeps steamrolling along. I do play both but enjoy this a lot more for strategy. And my strategy last year absolutely tanked!
Anyway, my current team is...
Finished with 2343 and having to field Durham and Parker. Final ranking of 133.
Wasn't too bad this season. I actually started with Miller and brought in Lyons and Keays pretty early. Struggled with rookie picks, some were plain rubbish, some I should have held for longer.
Now sitting at 161 after 2362 with some challenging scores. What’s funny though is my fantasy team has scored about 4000 points less & I’m ranked about 17k. Lol. Go figure. With 2 trades a week I struggle to even field a team in that game!
Looking at 3/4 time I can only laugh at my own comment. And no, I didn’t get him in. I guess if I did he’d probably score a 50 though so it makes perfect sense really.
For me it's a toss up between Danger, Sidey (been ok of late), Langford (good run of form uncertain how long it will last), Dusty (depends when he's interested).
I'm actually holding off the temptation to trade Gulden to RCD. He has another week before the rise and Gulden has a pretty obtainable BE (69). Even if he falls short he won't lose much money and gives another week to see how RCD goes. When teams hit tonight will give a sight what to do with...
I play Fantasy out of habit as well but invest far more time into RDT.
It’s funny though and I wonder if anyone thinks the same but Fantasy feels like what you would play at school with your mates...you play RDT when you become an adult. 😂
I like the idea of Stephenson but I also don’t like the idea of the players due to come back in. Will be interesting to see how he scores this week in any case.
