These are professionals that are dealing with agents that they will likely have to continue dealing with. Ie, if you tell an agent you are prepared to offer 500k/yr, then you'd want a pretty good reason to later renege on your offer.
But yes, agents use other clubs offers all the time as...
For reference, go check out what numbers Cunnington was putting up 30 odd games in.
made a leap from about game 40 onwards. reached his level once he had played 70-80 games.
You've got a winner with LDU. Played a fantastic game.
People forget that inside mids take time to develop. It's very rare for an inside mid to have a consistent impact right away, Clayton Oliver did it but not many others.
LDU has played under 30 games. Once he builds his tank and confidence...
Let's assume the WB first rounder this yr is pick 10. Which equals 1395 points.
The WB 1st rounder in 2021 currently sits at 985 points.
That's 2380 points right there.
They need to get to 2400.
Not sure the WB can trade back to pick up extra picks and still have enough points to match a...
hey?
You force another team to pay a fair price as opposed to a cheap price.
The Crows (and every other club) benefit from ensuring that the WB dont get a freebie.
No chance Adelaide moves out of the top 2-3 to go down to pick 9 imo.
If WB had pick 3 or something, then sure. But moving from pick 1 to 9 is madness.
Why are you guys complaining about English?
About time we started criticising Bevo for his ridiculous propensity of playing guys outside of their natural roles. He began this malarkey after the Premiership year when he threw Wood forward. Since then Dunks has been put in the ruck and now...
-Yes, part of the deal would be a gentleman's agreement that they wouldn't be bidding on JUH at 2 either
-My rationale for taking JUH + McDonald would be to switch Naughton back to defense
-Agree, not sure there is a workable trade. I dont think the WB would give up Smith in such a deal. And...
The reason I mentioned Dunks is that his best position is inside mid but Dogs have decent depth there and Dunks ends up getting moved around a bit, ie played in the ruck (lol) or up forward etc.
If you're Adelaide, wouldn't you make it clear to the WB that you are going to take JUH first and see if you can work out a player + pick trade for them to move up to 1? They could then take MDonald first and then match any bid for JUH that comes later.
Crows might be able to get say Dunkley +...
no, ive been checking it regularly as well and it seems to be down.
I hope it's coming back as I have relied on it for stats for many years.
does anyone know the person who runs it and can get in touch to see if it's coming back or not?
