Where are they now (delistings / retirements since 2005)
It looked that way a few years ago but then he seemingly stagnated for whatever reason and now here we are. Clearly close to being that but not quite, given a weak draft and shallow DFA pool I thought so too. The fact he didn’t get picked up under those circumstances would indicate he’s not good... -

Agree I really think he could make a great back pocket. Interesting I believe the scums knock on him was defending but he’s been good at that as a defensive winger IMO. -

Unfortunately it’s elite sport and as much as we love everyone that dons the Brown and Gold some aren’t going to make it no matter how much we want it. Interesting to look at list balance here is my attempt obviously not an exact science as people can play multiple positions but I feel like it... -

7 goals from 8 games and is 31. Makes sense if low cost and you have the replacement ready in 2 years to take over, say like Sophie Butterworth…I don’t see with her leaving who we have except for Eardley but then we have no tall KPD. feels like we aren’t improving the list to remain competitive...- Word Count: 84

I do a lot of walking and listening to podcasts and with little AFL in off season I go to ones I have heard. Listening to this on Shaped with Trent Cotchin his interview with Peter Burge a fascinating listen. -

So to summarise, Greeves was projected a top pick, slid to rookie pick, we got him, has good attributes but has to work on running and defence, now we see if he can make it at AFL level like all draft picks. About right?😉 If he makes it we are in great shape. 🤞 -

Understand what you are saying and there is clear merit, but I also think there are greater problems than foreseen. Will be an interesting watch on how it develops, but it certainly has the foundation to be great for training and fan engagement, I just doubt it can become a genuine aflw venue... -

There is no problem with criticism and ultimately it depends what they intend it to be. If simply a training facility it is excellent. If they plan large scale events less so but as an exception it was fine yesterday. To play games there seems totally untenable as things stand. -
