We are not even trying… What a sad football club

The only fact is Lazz is currently rated ahead of Will, which why he has played all games so far & Will has played Zero. All other interpretations/opinions, including yours are not facts.

For me, he is the biggest positive to come from a pretty ordinary year to date. Smart footballer, who gets his hands on the footy. There will be times this year when our midfield of LDU, Powell, Wardlaw & Sheez (who will move in there permanently very soon) will put opposition midfields to the...

He kicked 3, so I’d say yes. In comparison to half of the guys we have running around atm… hell yes!!

Structure? Larkey averaged more goals last year when CCJ wasn’t in the side compared to when he was in the side, so I’m not sure how much support he offers. Playing a player in the 22 who offers very little, just in case Xerri gets an injury mid game is not a good enough reason to play him ahead...

    You’d prefer CCJ up forward?

    Player Watch #12: Jy Simpkin - 2021 & 2022 Syd Barker Medalist - 2023 co captain with LMac - re-signed until end of 2029

We missed him big time on the weekend. Wardlaw wasn’t overly influential… offensively at least. Lazz was average. Powell was good not great. LDU was almost playing a lone hand in there for a lot of the day. Great to see Jy has pulled up well from his concussion & should play this week. LDU...

I wasn’t shocked or disappointed that Will was left out of the round 1 side for Lazz based on pre-season form & wanting to have some more pace around the ball. However after the GWS game & seeing Lazz attend a lot of Centre Bounces with little impact, I wished we had Will in there instead. I...

If we aren’t competing deep into September by the time the Tassie Devils come into the league… I will be looking for greener pastures too!

What are you basing that on? Wasn’t Sanders living in Melbourne prior to be drafted? I doubt we have anything to worry about except for mega mega bucks being thrown his way. Young adults leave Tassie for the mainland all the time & rarely go back until they retire, if at all

Player Watch #6: George Wardlaw - two-time RS nominee ('23 &'24) - the Warlord - managed vs Hawthorn

He can kick but at this stage he is just inconsistent.. he had a couple horrible kicks on Saturday. I think consistency will greatly improve with experience. Because he goes 100 miles an hour, I think he can sometimes rush his kicks… he needs to take half a second to steady himself before...

I must have missed both of those… what did he single him out for in particular?

When did this happen? I didn’t see Clarko single Phillips out for praise once let alone multiple times

I can’t say I see any similarities between these two… Bailey is certainly a very good player & I hope Powell can reach his level on impact on game, however it will won’t be in the same manner IMO

I want him forward. I was all for the move down back & think he has the attributes to develop into a weapon down there, however our forward line is crying out for someone like him instead of CCJ. Our backline has performed ok in both pre season games & still has Corr, McDonald (like it or not)...
